Do you think that this world is in chaos?

I mean, floods everywhere, earthquakes everywhere, diseases everywhere, tornados everywhere. What do you think? Inflation, foreclosures, unemployment. Is is just me or is it just the USA? do you think a new leader will help at all or make things worse or better? Are you preparing for bad? Would you say that this world is in a state of chaos worse now than ever or the same as ever?

The earthquakes are natural…happens all the time since the beginning of time, and back then it was even more intense.

For the floods and tornadoes, Im no geologist, but my 2 cents for this is….
1. Floods and tornadoes DO happen you know. They happen a long time ago, they happen now, and they will always happen. If a LOT of floods and tornadoes show up at once, well thats possible too. For one thing, everything in life is about probability, so all these multiple disasters happening at once is just really bad luck for the people affected. Another possible factor is DIFFERENT disasters AFFECT other ones, one may trigger another one. For example, an earthquake in one region of the world may cause a devastatiiong Tsunami in another part of the world. Tornadoes may lead to other oceanic disasters.
For the extra floods and tornadoes/cyclones, we can also blame the gradual climate changes. The increase in temperature of the atmostphere is increasing the occurence of tornadoes and floods, which is obvious.
For diseases, there is 2 factors. One is the overall increase health and medicare world wide…people used to die from trivial things like fevers. With todays scientific knowledge, MORE people stay ALIVE longer and all at once. This means that there are now MORE people alive to get infected with other diseases. These OTHER diseases have existed for a long long time, and we KNEW these disease existed, but since humans had other many other survival issues to worry about, those diseases were largely ignored since the amount of people infected were too small to notice. BUT now that so many people are alive at once, there are MUCH more people getting afflicted with new diseases, and since medical science helps keep them alive, they can 1) spread it to others longer, and 2) reveal the disease to us, report it to authority. So since more people are alive, they are able to go to hospitals and be diagnosed with a disease, it gets reported more often, and it feels like the disease is running rampant now because we can live long enough to catch it.
Another explanation for the disease is because of EVOLUTION. Viruses and bacterias are living organisms, and thus are able to slowly mutate and evolve. Like I mentioned above, with such a huge population, different mutagens have a much higher chance of spreading to a much larger amount of people, and within the people they infect, bacterias and viruses will constantly reproduce at a rapid rate, those infected will spread their disease. With so many people infected with so many viruses and bacterias, more and more of the mutagens will reproduce in high numbers. Eventually just ONE or more of the little bacteria or virus will have an abnormal gene when reproducing, hence a mutation. When that one single mutagen reproduces, more of the same kind will have that mutation. If that particular new gene makes the viral agent different enough, like say granting resistance against antibiotic, this is how a NEW disease is formed, this is exactly how SARS became such a threat. The individual with that new affliction will spread it to several others, and and the newly infected further spreads it as they travel, some of them will go to hospital or doctor, they will be diagnosed with something new, authority is alerted, and the new disease is officially acknowledged. So for the disease BLAME natural selection, and the increasing survival rate and population of humans. Also chemicals in the air, like radiation, WILL increase frequency of mutation, of animals and viral agents alike, increasing chance of mutation, and most of these chemicals in enviroment are caused by human pollutions.

for inflation and unemployment…blame the ever increasing population. Im no good at business or economy though, only biology, sorry. But just blame the increasing economy, you customs trying to block foreign markets just to improve their own crappy homeland companies, tariffs…etc etc.
P.S I highly doubt a new leader would change much. many of the bad things happening are occuring because of nature, or because of nigh irreversible damages humans have caused. And knowing the tendency of idiots voting for conservative type governments, its only going to be downhill until people stop voting for those religious freaks.
